We appreciate your interest in our company and our services and would like you to feel safe when visiting our website, especially regarding the protection of your personal data.

We take the protection of personal data very seriously. It therefore goes without saying that we comply with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) as well as other relevant data protection laws. We want you to know under what circumstances we process which data and how we use that data. We have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that both we and external service providers operate in compliance with data protection regulations.

1. What anonymous data do we collect and for what purpose?

When you visit our Internet pages, our web servers automatically store the data that your browser transmits to enable you to visit the Internet pages and thereby be able to inform you of our range of services and about our company. This includes:

  • The name of your Internet service provider,
  • The website from which you are visiting us, as well as the date and time of your visit,
  • The amount of data transferred, your browser, the language and version of the browser software as well as your operating system and its user interface.

We evaluate this technical data anonymously and for statistical purposes only in order to optimize our Internet presence and to make our Internet offerings even more attractive. These anonymous data are stored separately from personal information on secure systems and no conclusions can be drawn from them about an individual person.

2. Data processing through the use of cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer in order to follow the preferences of visitors and to be able to design our website accordingly.

Transient cookies are one type we use. These are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. They save what is known as a session ID with which various requests from your browser can be allocated to the shared session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to the website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

To prevent cookies from being saved, "Do not accept cookies" must be selected in the browser settings. If the browser does not accept cookies, the functionality of the website may be limited.

This stored information is stored separately from any further data that may have been provided to us. In particular, the data in the cookies are not linked to your other data.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1) point f of the EU GDPR. The legitimate interest pursued is to facilitate and improve the use of the site and thus to improve the presentation of our offer.

3. Data processing when our general contact form is used

When you contact us through our website, we will process the following information so that we can respond appropriately to your request:

  • Date and time of the request,
  • Your first and last name and title, if applicable,
  • Your e-mail address,
  • Query text.

We cannot process your request without this information.

You can provide the following additional data voluntarily:

  • Your telephone number and address.

If this information is missing, we will not be able to contact you by these means, but only via your e-mail address.

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for processing your request.

Data will not be transmitted to third parties.

We would like to point out that we can only erase your data after a statutory obligation of retention has expired, if one exists. This applies accordingly to any obligation of retention arising from a contract with you.

How do we back up your data?

We have implemented technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data about you that we process against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in keeping with technological developments.

We have obligated our employees and any data-processing third parties to maintain confidentiality as well.

Your rights

In accordance with the EU GDPR, you have the right to request information from us at any time as to whether we have stored personal data about you. Furthermore, you have the following rights with regard to this stored data:

  • The right of information about stored data (Art. 15 EU GDPR),
  • The right to rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 EU GDPR),
  • The right to erasure of data (Art. 17 EU GDPR),
  • The right to restriction of processing of data (Art. 18 EU GDPR),
  • The right to object to unreasonable data processing (Art. 21 EU GDPR),
  • The right to data portability (Art. 20 EU GDPR).

If you have given your consent to the use of data, you can revoke this at any time effective for the future.

You also have the right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where you are staying or your workplace is located or where the alleged infringement took place, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you is contrary to the EU GDPR (Art. 77 EU GDPR).

 

Persons under 18 years of age may not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not request personal data from children and young people, do not collect these data and do not pass them on to third parties.

Information according to Art. 13(2a) point e of the EU GDPR: The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually prescribed or necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide personal data. Please refer to the paragraph "Which personal data do we collect and for what purpose" for the possible consequences of not providing personal data for the respective data processing procedure.

Modification of our Data Privacy Statement

We reserve the right to change our data protection measures insofar as this becomes necessary due to technical developments or changes in legislation or jurisprudence.
